Why Societly

The modern alternative to legacy society apps — at a fraction of the price

Every feature, side by side. Pay-per-unit pricing instead of bracket-padding flat fees. A practical, modern answer for every requirement a committee actually has.

The short version

Same core features. Modern UI. About 1/12th the price.

The older society-management platforms are solid, but they were built for a world before UPI, before modern smartphones, and before transparent pricing on the website. Societly does the same job for billing, visitors, helpdesk, amenities and accounting — and adds 14-language translation, no platform fee or cut on payments, and a sign-up flow that takes 5 minutes.

Price comparison

Run your numbers by society size

Older platforms price in flat brackets — one fee covers "up to 100 units", another covers "up to 200", and so on. A small society pays the same as a society three times its size. Societly is the opposite: a clean per-unit rate, so you only pay for the homes you actually have.

How bracket pricing actually feels

Imagine your society has 35 flats. On a bracket-priced platform, you pay the same fee as a 100-flat society — because both fall in the "1 to 100" bracket. That's fine for the 100-flat society. For yours, it's effectively paying for 65 phantom flats. Societly removes that padding entirely: 35 flats means you pay for 35 flats, billed monthly, prorated to the day if you change unit count mid-cycle.

All prices exclusive of 18% GST. Societly column uses our published ₹15/unit/month Growth rate. Legacy bracket-fee numbers are benchmarked against a recent business proposal we have on file and reflect typical bracketed pricing for incumbent society management platforms. Brackets and amounts vary by vendor — ask yours for the quote and check it against this table.
Where Societly wins

Seven reasons societies switch to Societly

Fraction of the price

Societly Growth at ₹15/unit/month works out to roughly one-twelfth of what older platforms charge. For a 14-unit society, that's ₹2,520/year vs ~₹30,000/year on legacy apps — same job, dramatically less spend.

Live in 5 minutes

No onboarding fee, no kickoff call, no training session. Sign up, upload your unit list, invite residents. Older platforms ship onboarding & training as a separate process.

14 Indian languages, end-to-end

Every announcement, helpdesk ticket and post is translated for residents in their preferred language — instantly, right inside the app. Older platforms only translate voice input to English; Societly translates the entire content of the app.

Private AI that runs on your phone

A built-in assistant writes meeting minutes, drafts notices and committee replies, sorts complaints, and explains any bill in plain language — all on the resident's own phone. Nothing is sent to a cloud, it works offline, and it speaks 14 Indian languages. Where other platforms send your society's data to a server for any "AI", Societly keeps it on the device — a privacy promise legacy apps simply can't make.

No annual lock-in

Monthly billing, prorated to the day, cancel anytime, export your data on the way out. Older platforms typically write proposals as 12-month upfront commitments.

Built in 2026 on modern stack

Built fresh in 2026 — snappy on every Android phone, instant on iPhone, designed so that adding another society costs us almost nothing and we can keep your pricing low forever.

No platform fee or cut

A resident pays their bill and the collection is settled to your society's own bank account. Societly takes no commission and adds no platform fee — we earn only from the subscription, never a share of your residents' payments.

They keep the price low, the experience fast, and the learning curve gentle for both committees and residents. For features rolling out next — independent security audit, Tally-format export, dedicated split-screen guard mode and direct barrier integrations — your society moves with us; you don't pay extra and you don't wait for the next major version.
